Build Agentforce Action Flows
Build the autolaunched flows, and the Apex behind them, that an Agentforce agent calls as actions, so the agent can look things up, create records or hand off to a human.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Sets up the agent's topics and actions, often in Agent Script, and wires in prompt templates where the action needs them.
- Writes an Apex invocable action when the flow needs logic a flow cannot do, such as threaded email replies with quoted history.
- Builds or updates the flow the agent calls as a new version, leaving the active version untouched. In one case this was an Omni-Channel route-to-human flow that now sends an email before routing.
- Deploys to a sandbox and validates with UAT, checking every flow element in Flow Builder.
- Writes a UAT report and a reference document.
- Makes the action flows available in the mobile app, for example by enabling timesheets and creating App Extensions.
- When a fault cannot be fixed in code, such as a missing managed package flow, it says so and offers options: a replacement prompt template or a support case.
