Automate Approval Processes
Get record approvals running in Salesforce: an approval process or a Flow approval orchestration that routes a record to the right approvers, locks it while it waits and creates approval work items.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Checks the org's prerequisites against the setup steps the user supplies, for example the Advanced Approvals setup.
- Builds the approval flow with its stages and approval steps.
- Submits a test approval. When submission fails, it finds the cause, such as the record lock setting, fixes it and resubmits until approval work items appear.
- When replacing a legacy approval process, it deactivates the old process, deploys helper autolaunched flows and creates the approval orchestration with its trigger, stage, approval step and a background step that sets a pending status.
- For a larger multi-approver design, it writes a phased implementation plan before building, covering custom objects, validation rules, record-triggered flows, notifications, permission sets, deployment order, record locking and testing.
