Configure GitHub Source Control

Connect a GitHub repository to Salesforce work, then commit, push, branch and open pull requests so org code and related files end up under version control.

How MeshMesh does it

  1. Finishes the Salesforce work first, then commits the changes locally.
  2. Pushes the commit to the GitHub remote. When a token fails, it retries with a newer one.
  3. Generates files and pushes them to a repository under a dated folder.
  4. Keeps build output out of the staged files when .gitignore rejects them.
  5. For larger setups, writes a contributor guide and builds a GitHub Action that reviews and auto-merges contributor pull requests.
  6. Fixes the pipeline over several rounds and validates it end to end with a real pull request.
