Experience Cloud26 tasks
Configure Experience Cloud Guest Access
Lets people who are not logged in use an Experience Cloud site: guest permission sets, guest sharing rules, public pages and flows, so a visitor can browse records or submit a form without an account.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Checks what guest access the licence allows. In one case MeshMesh found the Education Cloud Guest Access licence and showed it permits Read on the course catalog objects.
- Assigns guest permission sets and adds Read on the objects visitors need.
- Builds the guest-facing pieces. In one case this was a multi-language subscription form with Apex, Lightning web components and Lead/Campaign handling.
- Deploys custom fields and guest user access, then tests them.
- Tests the site as a guest and traces access errors to their cause, such as missing guest sharing rules.
Some guest settings cannot be set through any API. When browser access is also blocked, they remain manual steps. For login-side setup, see Configure Experience Cloud External Access.
