Configure LWC Static Resources
Get images, logos, scripts and other media into static resources so Lightning web components and branding can use them, or point a component at the right asset URL.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Finds why an image or logo does not show, such as an external logo blocked by the CSP image rules.
- Gets the asset from the brand kit, makes the variant needed, uploads it as a static resource and points the component at it.
- When static resource URLs do not render, switches the records to Salesforce File download URLs, simplifies the Apex controller and component, and redeploys.
- Creates JavaScript static resources, such as a small utility script.
- Checks that the asset renders with no console errors.
- Often leaves deployment of new static resources to the user.
