Build Home Page Card Components
Build or fix the card components shown on Salesforce home pages. Add, restyle or rework cards so the home page shows what users need.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Checks the org for existing components before building. In one case it found that a matching LWC, Apex controller, trigger helper and active trigger were already there.
- Retrieves the home page to see whether the component is already placed on it.
- Builds a new card LWC, such as a learner greeting with credentials and resource cards. For existing cards, it edits the JS, HTML and CSS, for example to add a status badge.
- Deploys the components with the Salesforce CLI.
- Activates the page as the org-default Home page and as an app-default Home page.
