Integrate Data 360 Ingestion API
Push records from an outside system into Data 360 through the Ingestion API, land them in data lake objects, and map them to data model objects so they can be queried and used.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Registers an Ingestion API connection in Data 360 with its schema.
- Creates the data stream and maps the data lake object to the data model object.
- Prepares mock records when the job needs sample data.
- Sets up a connected app with the scope needed to exchange a token for a Data 360 token before ingesting. This step can be blocked: in one case no Data 360 token could be obtained, so re-ingestion stayed blocked.
- Streams the records and verifies them in both the data lake object and the data model object. In one case the ingestion request was interrupted before it finished.
