Diagnose Data 360 Data Stream Failures
Find out why a Data 360 data stream, registration or sync is failing, fix it where the platform allows, and say clearly when only Salesforce support can clear it.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Checks the stream's source object and configuration against what the platform supports. In one case it found the stream used a Knowledge object that Bulk API does not support, and switched it to the correct one.
- Tries the fixes the API allows: patching the stream, disabling problem fields, deleting and recreating it, and running a full refresh.
- Traces a failure to its root cause. In one case web content crawl errors were traced to the target site blocking the crawler.
- When nothing in the org can clear the failure, it writes up the problem and recommends a Salesforce support case to force-delete the stream or clear orphaned metadata.
