Deploy Managed Packages to Orgs
Get a managed or AppExchange package installed or removed in an org, with the blockers in the way cleared first.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Looks at what blocks the install or uninstall. In one case this meant naming conflicts with existing Data 360 streams. In another, it meant permission set assignments and active managed flows.
- Clears those blockers. It removes the permission set assignments and deactivates the managed flows through the Tooling API.
- Uninstalls the package along with its Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages and custom objects.
- Checks the org after the change and updates its business context notes.
- Hands over manual install steps when a package is only available through the AppExchange "Get It Now" flow. That flow needs a Trailblazer sign-in MeshMesh cannot do.
