Configure Org Rebranding
Give an org a new look and name: logos, colors and themes on apps and pages, and old brand names replaced in records and agents.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Retrieves the existing branding metadata first. This shows the correct format for ContentAsset and BrandingSet files, which the evidence shows is easy to get wrong.
- Updates Lightning Experience Themes, BrandingSet properties and FlexiPage parent templates.
- Uploads new logos as ContentAsset records, matching logo version values and using Apex for the upload when needed. It then sets the app logo.
- For a name change, updates old brand names in records in bulk. In one case this covered Account fields, Case subjects, an ID prefix, Product2 and Asset records, and active Agentforce agents.
- Checks for remaining old-brand references in Products, Pricebooks and PricebookEntries.
- Deploys the change and rolls it back on request, retrying when a deployment is denied.
