Configure Distributed Marketing
Set up Distributed Marketing so field users can send approved, template-based emails from campaigns, leads and contacts. MeshMesh handles enablement, CMS email templates, campaigns and the send flow.
Method
How MeshMesh does it
- Enables Distributed Marketing in the org.
- Creates the CMS email template and the campaign.
- Builds and activates an event-triggered send flow with its email template and sender configuration.
- Checks that the flow is linked to a campaign. In one case the link was missing and could not be added because the flow was already active.
- Places the Distributed Messages component on record pages and checks that it renders.
- For demo builds, adds supporting demo data and saves the setup as a reusable recipe.
